How do I book a shipment?
Contact us at 866-325-0108 or complete our online request a quote form. You can also email us. We will respond within 24 hours.
What paperwork do I need to have before I can ship my horse?
You will need a valid negative Coggins Certificate, which is generally good for 6 months, brand inspection and health certificate by a licensed veterinarian within the past 30 days. A copy of immunization records is welcome, ask your vet for recommended vaccinations prior to shipping horses, at least two weeks in advance of shipment. You will also need to complete our transport contract and send in your 50% deposit.
Where will my horse stay en route?
If a layover is necessary we have quality facilities that we use throughout the country.
Can I ship tack or other items with my horse?
We expect some equipment to accompany your horse, please let us know what you would like to accompany your horse and I am sure we can accommodate you.
Can I check on my horse during the trip?
Yes, we can be reached by cell phone at anytime during the tip. We also check e-mail several times during a trip.
How often do you stop to check on the horses?
We make stops every 3-4 hours to water and check the horses. If the horses need any special care, we would take care of their needs during these stops. We also stop approx 15 minutes into the trip to make sure that the horse is adjusting well to the trip.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Montana and make frequent trips to the East Coast. We are willing to make trips anywhere in the lower 48 states, as needed.
What experience do you have with horses?
We have spent a lifetime owning and training horses and we understand the level of care that you expect your equine friend and/or valuable investment to have. We have been involved with horses from childhood and are very knowledgeable of the needs of horses when they travel. We treat every horse that we haul as though it was our own.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, master card and visa credit cards, wire transfers and money orders. We accept checks for the 50% deposit if it is received more than 10 days before we leave on your trip.
Do you transport horses with special needs?
We have alot of experience hauling older horses, pregnant mares and foals. We understand how important it is to have them arrive safely, comfortably, and with as little stress as possible. Please let us know ahead of time if your horse will need additional stops, supplements, etc.
